Medical Center's New Branding Complements Improvements
Texarkana, Texas, December 7, 2009 -- Wadley Regional Medical Center, a 370-bed hospital in Texarkana, Texas recently unveiled its new brand identity. The contemporary logo symbolizes a new era for the medical center since being bought by Brim Healthcare of Texas in March, 2009.
"This is just one of the exciting changes taking place as we continue the tradition of providing great care and simultaneously look for ways to enhance our services to the community," said Tom Gilbert, CEO of Wadley Regional Medical Center.
The logo represents a new direction the medical center is taking to improve services and technology while keeping the tradition of compassionate and quality care. In a few short months, the hospital has advanced by adding cutting-edge equipment and technology such as the da Vinci® surgical system and improving its revenue management through Brim's Solutions Group. In addition, the hospital is working toward remodeling the patient care rooms and public waiting areas to be more comfortable and inviting for both patients and visitors.
"Wadley has made a lot of progress since the change in ownership," said Gilbert. "Through Brim's resources, the hospital has become financially stable and advanced in many ways. As we move forward, it is our goal to become the hospital of choice for the residents of Texarkana and the surrounding areas. I think the new branding reflects a positive culture change and affirms our aspirations for the future."
